1) Data We Process
To operate the service, we process account details (such as email), uploaded 3D files, and generated outputs. This data is used only to provide requested functionality and core platform operations.
2) File Retention
Uploaded meshes follow per-plan retention: Free 7 days, Hobbyist 30 days, Maker Pro 90 days, Lifetime 365 days. After your retention window ends, files are queued for deletion and permanently purged within 24 hours. You may also delete any file manually at any time from your dashboard. Private uploads are not used to train public models by default; no public model-training opt-in control is available in the current implementation.
AI-generated outputs (text-to-3D and image-to-3D models produced inside TooBig3D) follow the same per-plan retention windows as uploaded meshes: Free 7 days, Hobbyist 30 days, Maker Pro 90 days, Lifetime 365 days. After your retention window ends, outputs are queued for deletion and permanently purged within 24 hours. Re-export the result locally if you want to keep it beyond your plan window. Untracked or orphaned intermediate files are cleaned up far sooner.
3) AI Processing
Models submitted for AI-assisted processing are used only to produce your requested output. Private uploads are not used by TooBig3D to train public models by default; no public model-training opt-in control is available in the current implementation.
4) Optional Third-Party AI Features
Some optional features use third-party AI processors only when you choose to run them. Advanced AI Generation sends your prompt, optional reference image, generation settings, and resulting 3D asset to Meshy AI. Advanced AI Semantic Split sends the selected 3D model and split settings to Tripo AI (Holymolly Ltd). These providers process submitted data under their own terms and privacy policies. See Meshy’s Privacy Policy and Tripo’s Privacy Policy.
Basic Local Generation runs on TooBig3D-controlled infrastructure and does not send your model to Meshy AI or Tripo AI. If you do not want third-party AI processing, use Basic Local Generation and do not select Advanced AI Semantic Split.
5) Security Measures
We apply reasonable safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest. No system can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid uploading content you are not comfortable processing online.
6) Cookies & Session Data
We use essential session data to keep you signed in and maintain application state. We do not rely on third-party ad tracking cookies for core product use.
7) Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Data may be shared with infrastructure providers strictly to run the service (hosting, storage, and processing).
8) Your Choices
- Delete uploaded files yourself any time, or rely on automatic plan-based retention cleanup.
- Request account-related support through official support channels.
- Stop using the service if you do not agree with this policy.
9) Policy Updates
We may revise this policy as the product evolves. Material updates will be reflected by a new “Last updated” date on this page.
10) Contact
If you have privacy questions, contact support through the Help page and include "Privacy Request" in your message so we can route it quickly.
To request removal of non-consensual intimate imagery, AI-generated likeness misuse, or content depicting a minor, use our public Content Removal Request form. Reviewed within 48 hours by our designated contact. Suspected child sexual abuse material can also be reported directly to NCMEC at CyberTipline.
