The empty build plate now offers a third entry point alongside Upload and Start AI Mode: a Search call-to-action that opens the in-app model browser. From the moment you land in the editor you can pull a model directly from Thingiverse, Printables, Thangs or MyMiniFactory onto the plate — no upload, no AI prompt, no leaving the app.
Phones and tablets can now import models from the in-app Model Search the same way desktops do. The mobile path that previously failed to load downloaded models is fixed, so browsing and bringing a result onto the plate works end-to-end on small screens.
The build plate now appears as soon as the page loads instead of waiting for the session to be created in the background. You can start interacting with the viewport without the brief startup gap that used to sit between the page load and a usable scene.
Model previews in the in-app Search modal are now served through TooBig3D so they show up regardless of which provider hosts them. Browsing results from Thingiverse, Printables, Thangs and MyMiniFactory stays fully visual end-to-end.
Auto-Slice is now noticeably more conservative and predictable: it respects build-plate margins, prefers the dominant axis, preserves solid chunks, keeps large bodies intact on slight overflows, honours model transforms when planning cuts, avoids cuts that only trim a margin, and cleans up secondary-overflow material. Fewer surprise splits, cleaner part layouts on the first pass.
The editor now loads the build plate without blocking on account-status calls. Slow auth round-trips no longer hold up the first usable view of your scene.
Pressing Save / Export now keeps you in your session instead of navigating the editor away while the download runs. Saved files use unique filenames and preserve your move, rotate and scale transforms, and the auto-working-save path is more dependable across long editing sessions.
A new ⟲ Clear button is available in the top toolbar, with a matching ↩️ control in the bottom bar, to clear the editor's locally cached state and reload. Useful when something gets stuck or when you just want a brand-new slate without manually emptying browser storage.
